Our organization is progressing with Phase Two of constructing latrines and sanitation infrastructure in 𝗧𝗮𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗔𝗹-𝗢𝗺𝗱𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽, 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗿. This initiative is part of the 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲 (𝗪𝗔𝗦𝗛) 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁, with generous support from USAID and in partnership with IOM.

This phase focuses on on-the-ground execution, informed by technical planning and site selection carried out in consultation with the local community. Construction is guided by standards that promote user safety, privacy, and environmental responsibility.

This work is vital in creating healthier living conditions for displaced individuals, 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲, and 𝘂𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀.

We see access to proper sanitation as a core right that strengthens the resilience of vulnerable populations and supports their path to recovery.
