Ongoing Provision of Safe Drinking Water – Tawila Al-Omda and Dabanera Camps, North Darfur

Even on the second day of Eid Al-Adha, our committed field team is on the ground, working tirelessly to ensure continued access to safe and clean drinking water for displaced families in Tawila Al-Omda and Dabanera Camps, North Darfur.

This life-saving intervention is part of the broader Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Project, generously funded by USAID and implemented in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

Providing clean water is not only a basic necessity—it is a critical measure to protect health and uphold dignity in crisis-affected settings. Ensuring uninterrupted water supply during the holiday period demonstrates our deep commitment to the urgent needs of vulnerable communities, particularly in reducing the risk of waterborne diseases, which disproportionately affect women and children.

By standing with these communities in moments of celebration and need alike, we reaffirm our dedication to sustainable, dignified, and people-centered humanitarian action.
