πŸ“ Beneficiary Registration – Wadi Saleh, Segi

Today marks the commencement of the beneficiary registration process for conflict-affected households in Segi, Wadi Saleh locality – Central Darfur. This initiative is a key component of the Emergency Shelter Support Project, made possible through the generous support of USAID and implemented in close partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

This initial phase of registration plays a crucial role in identifying families most in need of assistance, especially those who have been displaced or severely impacted by conflict. It is a foundational step to ensure that emergency shelter support is delivered efficiently, equitably, and in a manner that promotes dignity, protection, and safety for all beneficiaries.

The registration activities are being conducted in close coordination with local community leaders and representatives to promote a process that is fair, transparent, and guided by actual needs on the ground. This collaboration ensures that the voices of affected communities are heard and reflected in every stage of the response.

We extend our sincere gratitude to USAID, the US Agency for International Development, for their unwavering commitment, and to IOM Sudan for their partnership in implementing this lifesaving intervention.
