Following the devastating landslide in the Tarsin Villages, a dedicated team from the Dariba Center for Environmental Studies (DCES) carried out a field visit to stand with the affected communities and assess the scale of the disaster.

✨ During the visit, our team:
✅ Met with community members and expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims.
✅ Assessed the impact of the landslide on homes, livelihoods, and the surrounding environment.
✅ Documented the urgent needs of survivors to help guide effective humanitarian and recovery interventions.
This visit marks the beginning of a longer-term commitment to support Tarsin Villages in the aftermath of this tragedy. DCES is working closely with local communities and partners to coordinate emergency response efforts while also focusing on building long-term resilience to natural disasters.
At DCES, we believe that responding together strengthens recovery and ensures that no community faces disaster alone.
