As part of the Providing Humanitarian Support for Crisis-Affected Communities in Sudan Project, the Deriba Center for Environmental Studies (DCES) carried out the distribution of Turkish tents to conflict-affected families and communities in Al-Turaya and Um Shujairat Camps, Gedaref State, from 13–14 June 2026.
This intervention responds to the growing humanitarian needs of affected households by providing safe and appropriate shelter solutions that improve living conditions while enhancing protection, dignity, and resilience among vulnerable populations.
The activity is implemented in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and supported by the AFAD Rapid Response Fund, as part of joint efforts to deliver urgent humanitarian assistance to communities most affected by the crisis.
