“Health is a community effort – together, we save lives.”

As part of the Emergency Cholera Response Project, and in partnership with the Awareness Raising Organization for Social Development and the Ahl Zalingei Initiative, our team conducted a field campaign at Al-Khamis Market in Zalingei to safeguard public health.

✨ Activities included:
✅ Spraying and disinfection of Al-Khamis Market to eliminate potential sources of contamination.
✅ Community awareness sessions on the risks of cholera and methods of prevention, focusing on safe hygiene practices and clean water use.

Why this matters:
Cholera remains a serious threat in vulnerable communities, spreading rapidly through contaminated water and poor sanitation. By disinfecting high-risk areas and empowering people with knowledge, we are taking critical steps to prevent outbreaks, save lives, and build a healthier, safer environment for all.
