On Wednesday, 18 June 2025, an introductory meeting was held in Segi, Wadi Saleh locality – Central Darfur, to launch the Emergency Shelter Support Project, generously funded by USAID and implemented in partnership with IOM.
The session introduced the project’s objectives, the criteria for selecting beneficiary households, and the implementation plan aimed at supporting conflict-affected families with dignified and secure emergency shelter solutions.
The meeting brought together local leaders, women’s representatives, volunteers, and humanitarian actors, emphasizing the importance of community engagement and transparency for successful implementation.
