🌱 “When we plant a tree, we plant hope for generations.” 🌱

As part of the Ecosystem Restoration Project in Conflict-Affected Areas of Sudan, and in partnership with the Forests National Corporation (FNC), our dedicated team carried out an impactful reforestation activity on Monday, 25 August 2025, in Lowny Forest, Abu Hajar Locality – Sennar State.

✨ The activity included:
🌳 Planting 500 seedlings across 70 acres of land.

This initiative marks a significant stride toward:
✅ Restoring degraded ecosystems
✅ Combating desertification
✅ Safeguarding natural resources
✅ Enhancing community resilience
✅ Promoting a greener, more sustainable Sudan

Impact of 500 Seedlings:
These 500 trees will help mitigating climate change and improve air quality. Beyond carbon capture, the trees will prevent soil erosion, enhance biodiversity, and provide shade and livelihood opportunities for local communities in the coming years.

Every tree planted is a promise, a promise of cleaner air, richer soil, and a brighter future for generations to come.
